How to safespot the Chaos Elemental using the Red X method. Safe and HCIM-friendly approach that minimises exposure to PKers while farming this deep wilderness boss.

How it works

  1. Lure with alt — alt cannot deal damage to the boss. Use stun spells or simply run close enough to aggro it.
  2. Run along the south wall to tile #1, then wait for the projectile.
  3. Run north to tile #2, wait for the projectile.
  4. Run to tile #3, then west into singles — boss is now safespotted.
  5. Your HCIM must tank one hit. Walk to tile #2 after the boss is safespotted to gain kill credit — skipping this means no loot.
